- A-Taupe the Space Needle by OPI - new for fall in the Touring America Collection.
- Get in the Espresso Lane by OPI - new for fall in the Touring America Collection. Its a really rich dark brown that I am using to replace my old stand by "Espresso Yourself" which I can't find on the shelves anymore.
- You Don't know Jacques by OPI - my old stand by. Rich grey without that purple tint that you get with some grey polishes.
- Lady Godiva by Essie - This one has been around for years, but I still love it. It is a rich reddish brown that almost looks black, depending on the light.
- Mink Muffs by Essie - I discovered this one right before the spring/summer colors hit, but am excited to start wearing it again now that it is time for the dark colors again. It's brown, but not as dark as Lady Godiva or Get in the Espresso Lane. It is more of a smokey taupe. Love it!
Spring 2011 - I love the bright, happy colors of spring, but I alternate with those cool neutrals and grays that have become so popular in the last year.

Base Coats and Top Coats - Don't even bother attempting a perfect home manicure without the right tools. The base and top coats are just as important, if not more important than a good polish. A good base coat gives you protection so your nails don't stain, as well as a good foundation for your polish. A prime top coat gives you a super glossy finish, and these dry in a snap for those mom's who just don't have time to sit around and wait for their polish to dry!!
